Simple and digital: launch of the ‘Virtual Reading Room’
From now on, you can easily explore the holdings of the ETH Zurich University Archives, the Thomas Mann Archives and the Max Frisch Archives online. The ‘Virtual Reading Rooms’ simplify archive research and offer expanded access options.
The Virtual Reading Room replaces the previous archive databases of the three archives and offers users advanced search options for their research as well as direct access to digital archive material. For protected digital documents, it is possible to request digital inspection in the Virtual Reading Room after registering. Another new feature is the direct ordering function in the system, which makes ordering by e-mail redundant.
